Today a new favorite opened in Hendersonville. Located in the shopping center with the new 5 and Below and Fresh Market, Chicken Salad Chick had a line of 100+ people waiting to get in and receive a years worth of free chicken salad. They did a fabulous job of marketing with social media posts and mailers going out. Friends have already been making a plan for the day they will meet up to enjoy this new restaurant.
I have to admit that I was pretty excited about it myself. Mike and I were exposed to the yummy chicken salads through his work a couple of years ago and we were impressed with the quality, taste and variety of flavors. Not to mention the hospitality of the founders was outstanding.
Today I was greeted by Stacy Brown at the restaurant and she was sweet as could be even though it was my first time to meet her. The entire staff was welcoming and helpful.
And of course, the chicken salad was delicious. I am picky about my chicken salad and will often ask to taste before ordering it at a restaurant. I love all their flavors – even the spicy ones. The Cranberry Kelli and Olivia’s Old South were yummy and I am looking forward to going back for some of the other. Of course if you are not a big chicken salad fan you can enjoy a salad or soup and of course cookies!
