Dance Dress Consignment (DDC) will host their first year Anniversary Celebration at Monthaven Historic Mansion in Hendersonville, Tennessee. November 20, 3-5 PM, MontHaven Historic Mansion, Antebellum Circle, Hendersonville, TN 37075.

DDC became an idea after 3 dancers talked about buying ballroom dresses at a dance competition. They wanted to find ways for themselves and other dancers to be able to look beautiful at dance showcases or competitions at their own price point. They started the business as strictly online and quickly began to schedule trunk shows and participate at ballroom and country western dance venues and competitions as vendors. They have been overwhelmed with the positive responses everywhere they have gone and the wonderful people they have met. Their first year has been quite exciting as they have exceeded their expectations and in the process have met dancers, made new friends in new places and have seen their dresses find new dances and create new stories!

DDC is a ballroom dance dress company based in Hendersonville, Tennessee, owned and operated by a mother, daughter team – Duffy Betterton and Debi Camp. They specialize in designer ballroom dresses and also offer beginner competition and showcase costumes online as well as at competitions, showcases and trunk shows.  They offer try on services by mail or for those who are local, a private appointment can be scheduled. They take dresses on consignment and upon approval of a dress, they will list it online and show it at dance venues across the southeast.   More information on their services can be found at www.dancedressconsignment.com.

DDC wishes to thank Frank Tollett, ballroom photographer, for supporting them both as a friend and as the photographer for the website. They would not be where they are without his help and support! Megan Bailey Gill has been their idea person, a helper when needed, and their set designer. They so appreciate all of her efforts and support! They thank Stephen Marino, world renowned ballroom dance photographer for his encouragement, support and promotional ideas. Becky Countess, their seamstress and dress refresher! They especially thank Carolyn Henry for helping DDC get off the ground, for all of her work and networking and continued support! They want to thank their own dance studio and teachers at World Champion Productions in Hendersonville for giving them the love of dance that started all of this! They also wish to also thank all of their dancer friends and consignors who came out for their first show and have remained constant encouragers and supporters. You all have made this an adventure!

The mission of DDC, is to help every dancer find a beautiful dress to make them feel their very best in a dance competition and at their own pricepoint!
